Several young bakers and their parents attended the second cooking session today at The Bunglow.  A great time was had by all!

Today’s session included a variety of growing and baking activities to keep the youngsters amused.

Firstly, before starting baking, the tutor, Alex Wilcock, chief lecturer at Farnborough College of Technology took the young bakers into the garden to pick tomatoes for the topping on their Pizzas and to visit the vegetable bed, to see the beetroot that they would later be adding to their Chocolate & Beetroot Brownie.

Once the Pizzas and Brownies were in the oven, the young bakers watered the garden and made a Potato Cress Head before sampling the scrummy Pizzas and Brownies they had made.
