Tuesday 11th April

There was lots of fun at the Bungalow today, when the Community Garden Project hosted its first cooking sessions for 2017

Several local children attended two sessions with Alex Wilcock, chief lecturer at Farnborough College of Technology - in morning younger children baked Easter biscuits on sticks and made Cheerio sheep, whilst in the afternoon there was an opportunity for older children to try their hand at making pasta for spaghetti carbonara and dough balls.

All the children made Easter baskets which provided an opportunity to finish the sessions with a sweet hunt in the Community Garden under the watchful eye of Gardener Alan and the ladies from the Farnham Area Timebank who had been on hand to help out where needed!
